Culture
Oiasso Museum in Irun
This cultural space, open to all types of visitors, is a real journey back in time that will transport you to the Roman underground city of Oiasso with its thermal baths, the Santa Elena necropolis, and the Irugurutzeta mines.
Visit Saint-Jean-de-Pied-Port
The former capital of Lower Navarre, Saint-Jean-de-Pied-de-Port has stood the test of time and shines with its cultural and architectural heritage, its gastronomy, and its breathtaking landscapes. An essential stop on the Way of St. James.
Sare Caves
A few miles from Saint-Jean-de-Luz, come explore an underground world that sheds light on geology, prehistory, and the origins of the Basque people. There is also a museum and a megalithic park to discover. Reservations are required.
The Bixintxo Festival in Ciboure (Ziburuko Bestak)
From January 17 to 26, there are lots of festivities going on in Ciboure. Around the port and downtown, come enjoy the big carnival, drinks, concerts, shows, and other fun stuff.
